Village Music Fest
Michael Glabicki       of RUSTED ROOT        with Dirk Miller
2019 Lineup
Rusted Root, the multi-platinum band out of Pittsburgh, evolved around front-man Michael Glabicki's distinct sound and grew into a musical entity that has thrived in a non-genre specific category all its own. In addition to the two decades with Rusted Root, Glabicki is exploring new sounds and opening new doors with his solo career.  He has started touring nationally as a duo with Rusted Root's guitar player, Dirk Miller, and explains that although he has his roots with Rusted Root, this show is very different.   Live, both Michael and Dirk play acoustic and electric and Michael often adds rhythm with a kick drum - creating a much fuller sound and energy than you find with a traditional duo. A multifaceted musician, producer and songwriter, Glabicki's talents are unique and extremely uplifting.  His duo tour dates and new music are extensions of his creative talent, and while the show still features many Rusted Roots hits, it also provides a look into the mind of Glabicki through stories and songs yet to be released.

I f the Eagles, Steve Earle, Dave Matthews and   James Taylor had a lovechild, they would have named him Darryl Tonemah. Tonemah had no idea that when he began writing songs in college,   that several years later, he would have played thousands of shows, made numerous radio and TV   appearances, released six albums with multiple awards and nominations, all while building up what has become   an international fan base. Despite all of these successes, Tonemah   retains a deep connection with his roots and a gift for intimate storytelling that has become his trademark.

Sawyer Fredericks, hailing from his family's farm in Upstate New York, is fast establishing himself as an authentic, original, Americana artist with deep, beyond-his-years lyrics and melodies, raw, soulful vocals, & powerful live performances. After a surreal couple of years, winning NBC’s The Voice & releasing a major label album, A Good Storm, with Republic Records, Sawyer has in many ways come full circle, back to his roots, back to his more organic approach to living & creating music.
